At the moment Viana do Castelo, on Cabedelo beach, there are several infrastructures, such as hotels, bars, several surf and kite schools, etc. All this has pros and cons… on the one hand it’s good, as there are several options and various services, on the other hand it makes the beach overcrowded and crowded at sea. The result is a crowded beach, with many practitioners at the same time in the sea, which often results in confusion and accidents.
Therefore, for us, Vila Praia de Âncora is the best beach to learn to surf.
